Hi Shannon…I don’t know you. I saw this post on facebook and am a friend of Hayley Denney. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, and preschool for over 30 years. My advice, wait, it won’t hurt him and will give him the “gift” of time…..Over the long run, it is truly a gift!

Oh goodness, I don’t know what I’d do either! Both Jaina and Jayce were born in the Spring, so they had the whole summer to be five before starting school. A big difference just a few months makes!
